1. Who we are

This website is operated by an independent, self-funded developer. Contact: admin@updatesbyai.com. We have no Data Protection Officer designation (not required for our scale of processing).

2. What we collect

• Contact form submissions (via FormSubmit.co): your email address and any message content you voluntarily provide. Processed solely to respond to you.
• Server logs: standard Cloudflare edge logs (IP address, timestamps) kept short-term for security and abuse prevention. No analytics, no advertising trackers, no third-party cookies.
• Paid API usage (x402 scan API): your public wallet address and the scan target URL you submit. This is pseudonymous data necessary to deliver the service and settle payment.

3. What we do NOT do

• We do not use tracking cookies or fingerprinting.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.
• We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any ad network.
• We do not store form submissions longer than needed to answer you.

4. Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)

Contact form: consent (you submit it voluntarily) and legitimate interest (answering enquiries). Paid API: performance of contract. Security logs: legitimate interest (Cybersecurity Act / Art. 6(1)(f)).

5. Processors

We use a small number of subprocessors: Cloudflare (CDN, DNS, DDoS protection — US/EU edge), FormSubmit.co (form-to-email relay), Hostinger (email hosting), Vercel/Cloudflare Pages (static hosting). Each processes data only to deliver its function.

6. Your rights (GDPR Art. 15-22)

You may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data at any time. We do not require identity verification beyond proof you control the submitted email address. Email admin@updatesbyai.com — we respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

7. Data retention

Form submissions: deleted after 90 days. Server/edge logs: per Cloudflare default (short-lived). Payment records: retained as required by applicable law.

8. Children

This service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
